Openthinka approaches Enterprise Architecture horizontally across business and technology. The objective is not to become the deepest implementation specialist in every technology involved, but to understand the enterprise sufficiently to identify dependencies, expose trade-offs, establish architectural guardrails and enable domain specialists and engineering teams to deliver a coherent enterprise outcome.
Engagements can range from executive technology advisory and architecture assessment through roadmap development, architecture governance, proofs of concept and hands-on architectural investigation.

David Wright is the Founder and Principal Enterprise Architect of Openthinka LLC. His career spans more than 25 years of Enterprise Architecture, technology strategy, engineering and transformation across organizations including Adobe, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Symantec, Dell and NetApp.
Most recently an Enterprise Architect within Adobe Technology Services and Adobe Business Platform, his work has included enterprise architecture and governance, M&A architectural due diligence and integration, enterprise applications and data, APIs and integration, Privacy-by-Design, platform architecture and emerging AI capabilities.
Previously, as a Distinguished Technologist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, he served as one of the company's most senior technical leaders, working across enterprise architecture, data, licensing and entitlement management, software asset management and international technology standards.
David remains a technologist at heart and continues to work hands-on where doing so helps turn architectural ideas into practical solutions.

Alongside its Enterprise Architecture practice, Openthinka develops and explores original technology concepts in entitlement management, privacy engineering, personal-data management, AI and enterprise architecture.
David Wright is the sole named inventor of U.S. Patent 10,872,077 B2, Management of Entitlements on the Blockchain, licensed to Adobe and in production since 2023. His broader patent portfolio spans software asset management, ubiquitous computing, software supply-chain licensing and entitlement, cloud and endpoint security, and privacy-preserving PII management.
Openthinka also develops proofs of concept and architectural research exploring how emerging technologies can be applied to practical enterprise problems.
